EUROPEAN COMMODITIES EXCHANGE-(ECE)
The European Association of Trading Exchanges is an international association that brings together 38 national trading exchanges from 12 European countries. Founded in 1961 by the professional exchanges of Mannheim and Strasbourg, with its headquarters at the Strasbourg Stock Exchange, the aim of the European Association of Trading Exchanges is to organize effective meetings between importers and exporters of all products grown in the common market countries, in the free trade area and in European countries, and to create a network by demonstrating the representative activities of its member exchanges.
In addition, the "European Grain Purchase Days" events organized every year provide players in the industry with an opportunity to meet face-to-face, discuss the future of the market, establish connections and strengthen mutual trust relationships.
Bursa Commodity Exchange has been the first and only Turkish member of the European Association of Trading Exchanges since 2015, and continues its activities in cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, the umbrella organization, for the promotion of Turkey and Bursa, the marketing of agricultural products and the creation of alternative markets.
